National Tourism Week, which was established in 1983, is being celebrated this week. This year’s theme recognizes the industry’s employees–over 100,000 tourism related jobs in Pinellas County alone. The economic impact in Pinellas County is more than $10-billion, and properties in Clearwater generate the largest amount of the county’s bed tax collections. Mayor George Cretekos and my Clearwater City Council colleagues and I hope you will vote for Quincy, the only accelerant detection dog in Pinellas County. Quincy was a 4-month-old Labrador mix when he was adopted from Pet Pal Animal Rescue by Assistant Fire Marshal Ron Neuberger. He is now 9 years old and has helped investigate hundreds of fires and has assisted in the conviction of more than 100 people. Quincy also all fire departments within the county and surrounding counties,
