Clearwater Arts Alliance welcomed a number of Arts teachers from area schools at Clear Sky in downtown Clearwater, Florida. Pinellas Arts administrators also attended at the August 12 event. — at Clear Sky on Cleveland.

Kids vs Cops

The third annual Kids vs Cops basketball game ended Friday afternoon with a victory by the Kids, 58-45.

With several hundred spectators cheering on both teams at the North Greenwood Recreation Center, all enjoyed the game.

It was a win for the community to see the positive interaction between the police officers and neighborhood children and adults.

U.S. Coast Guard Station Clearwater

At the U.S. Coast Guard Station Clearwater, by the PIE Airport, the Changing of the Command occurred on June 27.
Incoming Commander joins the Outgoing Commander to review the troops.

Joe Madden at Clearwater Beach

Manager of the Chicago Cubs Joe Madden spoke at Cheers for Charity event at the Wyndham Grand at Clearwater Beach, Florida.

The event was organized by Madden, Frank Chivas, and Brian Aungst Sr.

All the proceeds go directly to support local charities.

Gratitude for First Responders

Jevon Graham, Clearwater Emergency Services Director speaks about many groups and individuals who work together in emergencies.

The breakfast at the Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach, with about 200 attendees, was held to express appreciation to the many First Responders for their selfless service to the Clearwater area this past year.
