BeachTran Encouraged

As Vice-Mayor, it was a privilege today to deliver a copy of a Proclamation of Encouragement, passed by the Clearwater City Council, to Tom Nocera of BeachTran LLC to encourage them to continue research and planning , along with skyTran, a company developing a new elevated personal rapid transit system. We wish them success in their endeavors. One day a system like they envision might help ease the traffic in Clearwater, Florida.

At the Clearwater East library this morning, meeting with Jaclyn Boland, CEO of the Hispanic Outreach Center and Dr. Stan Vittetoe, provost of St. Petersburg College, Clearwater Campus. We were brainstorming ideas for serving our great Hispanic residents.
