National Tourism Week

National Tourism Week, which was established in 1983, is being celebrated this week. This year’s theme recognizes the industry’s employees–over 100,000 tourism related jobs in Pinellas County alone. The economic impact in Pinellas County is more than $10-billion, and properties in Clearwater generate the largest amount of the county’s bed tax collections.
